Data Center takeouts take a lot of coordination and logistical planning. Not only are you responsible for your equipment, but you have to adhere to the guidelines of the data center. Norris Technologies works with all partners across the board to make sure your equipment is taken out safely, without damage to building or equipment. We work with electricians and facility personnel to make sure all guidelines are adhered to. Our team travels all over the United States to safely decommission your equipment, pack and ship product back to our labs, and sanitize all drives to DOD standards to wipe all data.

We adhere to the data sanitization, purging, or destruction practices described in the NIST Guidelines for Media Sanitization: Special Publication 800-88 (rev. 1) or another current, generally-accepted standard, or are certified by a generally-accepted certification program.

  • Small light scratches and minor signs of wear and tear
  • Data wiped

Grade B

Good Condition

  • Minimum scratches and faded areas on the display or back cover
  • Small chips on the device
  • White spots
  • Fully functional device — powers on, home button intact, display works

Fair Condition

  • Signs of use
  • Extreme wear and tear
  • LCD damage (bleeding)

  • Heavy wear throughout — deep scratches, gouges, cracks or dents on the housing and glass
